Well, I certainly wasn't expecting to encounter a modern game based on an anime from 1975. The trailer does look somewhat interesting, but the voice actor is kind of shit. We'll see how it turns out.

The voice actor does sound kind of dull. The actor from the Force Five dub wasn't exactly good either, but at least he brought a little more charisma. His "weapon announcements" were a little comedically over the top.

Yeah, the english speakers don't do a very good job, especially Daisuke's voice actors, the others are a bit better.

The italian version is way better, they put a lot of effort in it to make it sound just like the original show.

I'm used to Actarus/Duke yell his commands, like they do in Anime and everything being very tense, but the english voice actor acts as if he's talking to his navigation system.

Yep the italian dub is top notch, I usually don't play with italian voices but for this game I'm more than happy to make an exception.

For what is worth, the team said that in Q12024 they will release both interface and voice in japanese, so there's that.

I'll be definitely trying it again once JP voices come out.
