Dear forum readers,

I'm surprised that as of now, the only version of the game available is B124 Preview 4, which is from the unstable branch. I know this game is still in development, but that doesn't mean everything coming out is unstable, that's why it seems to me that stable versions should be available for download, such as currently B123. Or am I missing something here ? Or did GOG just get the highest numbered version without thinking ?

It's just a temporary state until the next full version comes out in a few days.

We tested Preview 4 internally to ensure that it's stable enough during normal gameplay. This version should be already better in all respects than B123, that didn't had GOG Galaxy support.

PS There is now "Unstable" branch on GOG too.

Where can I load patches from gog for uboat. There are already - ( we have Preview 4)

I'm really desperate, i can not play the game, everything tested, CTD after loading screen (Sandbox & Tutorial) ;(

Latest testing versions can be accessed in GOG Galaxy by going into settings, changing "BETA CHANNELS" to "ON" and then changing "Channel" to "Unstable".

This problem is probably not version related though. Please send your log file located below. I will do my best to help:

C:\Users\(YOUR_USER_NAME)\AppData\LocalLow\Deep Water Studio\UBOAT\output_log.txt

I bought the game in August, in the menu was no problem, graphics options no problem, but every time after the loading screen, CTD. I have all forums searched for a fix. I tried everything, 60 fps, win work storage customized,
and all options in the game, nothing.

I found the problem yesterday, It does not work, with new Nvidia GeForce Graphics Driver 436.02 !

With an older one I have no problems, it is stable, 4 hours played - no crashes. yeah :)

Hi nihilcat, and thanks for your reply ! Okay, anyway I'm likely to remain sticked to the stable versions. Ah Galaxy, well, I don't use it though I may end up using it if they addressed some of the problems I have with it. I've read Galaxy 2.0 is more customisable so maybe, who knows.

Anyway, technically I don't see any obstacles to the beta channels being available on the standalone installers page, but I suppose they're not... of course... but yeah Galaxy is completely optional, so they said...

Now, to be honest, it should not be a problem for me as long as I stick to the stable branch, which is my intention for now.
