Is the GOG version of this game on the same version number as steam or is it behind? I want to purchase the game but I don't want to be stuck with a GOG version that hasn't gotten any updates for awhile if the Steam version is more current.. Not sure why GOG doesn't list the version number and the patch updates somewhere on the store page details.

The reason I'm concerned is because I have heard other games on GOG do not get the most current updates and patches.

I didn’t play the game yet but I purchased it. On the offline installers download page (I don’t use Galaxy), the available version is 2022.1 Patch 21. I’ve read that only stable versions are available as offline installers, the unstable ones are available on Galaxy only.

yea the last update i have from this game on gog is 2022..
Since then on steam i see they are talking about an update, but i dont know if they release it or not i checked for update using gog and there is a uboat "launcher" but i dont even know if that checks for updates..
And its a pain to get mods from steam if game isnt on steam..
And i couldnt get steam to see my gog library..
And i seen it cheaper on steam many times since.
Not happy purchase from gog tbh

Steam version is 2022.1 Patch 21, same as GOG. The update talk is about the upcoming v1.0 update from what I have gathered. Can't speak for the future, but thus far both are the same.
