Game Translation Process:
1. Download and run the Arch Tool (Tzar wdt archive manager)
2. Open file to work with (ex:.C:\Tzar\Packs\local.wdt)
3. Extract files to folder (ex: C:\Translation\local)
4. Go to the extraction folder (C:\Translation\local) and translate the following files:
CREDITS.TXT
HELP.INI
STRINGS.INI
STRINGS2.INI
STRINGS3.INI
5. Go back to Arch Tool
6. Create New archive
7. Fill all the fields.
Archive name - C:\Translation\local.wdt
Archive type - you can choose normal archive (can be edited on-the-fly with Arch Tool) or read-only archive (like the original). Anyone works.
Add folders - C:\Translation\local
6. Go to the "Packs" folder (C:\Tzar\Packs) and replace the original "local.wdt" with the translated version.
7. Start the game and check if the start menu is translated.
8. Do the same to the remaining files (data.wdt; help.wdt; images2.wdt; terrains.wdt).

Campaign Translation Process:
1. Run the Campaign Tool (TzarCampaign.exe)
2. Open the campaign to translate (ex: "TzarTutorial.wcm")
3. Extract the maps one by one to a folder. "TzarTutorial.wcm" has the following maps:
Intro.wmp
Perfect 3.wmp
Perfect 4.wmp
Perfect 5.wmp
tutmap1.wmp
tutmap2.wmp
tutmap6.wmp
4. Now, run the Map Editor (TzarEdit.exe)
5. Open the map to translate (ex: "Intro.wmp")
6. Go to the "File" tab and select "Export text...". This will export a txt file with all the text entries from the map.
7. Translate/edit the txt file as you like and import it back with "Import text...".
8. Do this to all the campaign maps.
11. When done go to the Campaign Tool and replace the original maps with the translated ones.
Note: this game has four great campaigns officially included only in Spanish and Italian editions:
Tzar: El Cid y la Reconquista (only in Spain) - "La Reconquista.wcm"
Tzar: El Rey Arturo y Excalibur (only in Spain & Italy) - "Excalibur y el rey Arturo.wcm"
Tzar: El Imperio de Gengis Khan (only in Spain & Italy) - "El Imperio de Gengis Khan.wcm"
Tzar: Los Dominios de la Magia (only in Spain) - "Los Dominios de la Magia.wcm"
Maybe someone can translate them to other languages ;)
