Tyranny - Gold Edition
There is a problem with the start of this game.
When I first bought it and started, I played the game until the end without any problems.
I saw the ending. And after some time, I installed it again.
Then it didn't start.

By the way, Epicgames also owns the game.
I installed it, started it, and fortunately, I was able to play the game.
It's the same game, but why isn't GOG starting?
I tried it because Google Search said it would start if I disconnected the Internet.
The game really started. Is there any reason?

Epicgames starts in a normal state.
GOG starts by disconnecting my Internet connection.
I don't think this problem only happens to me.
I want an explanation and a solution, what the reason is.

Search for the "galaxypeer64.dll" file in the goggalaxy installation folder and delete it (you may have multiple "msvc" folders with the file in it so just delete them all). That fixed the problem for me.

Thank you for your information. When I searched, there were many folders and designated files. I haven't erased the files yet because I'm scared. What exactly do these files do? In fact, I sent this issue to GOG officially, but there has been no response for four days. It would be good to erase the files as you advised, but I want to ask you.

Is there any other problem if I delete the files?
Does the game run normally with the PLAY button while GOG Galaxy is connected to the Internet?

I am not good at using computers, so I ask you for some more advice. Please reply if you have time.

As far as I know the galaxypere64.dll file has something to do with the cloud saving of gog galaxy. Some guy on the tyrannygame subreddit made a post mentioning the same issue you have and somehow managed to solve it deleting those .dll files. Here is the link to that thread https://www.reddit.com/r/TyrannyGame/comments/uqw7ch/game_crashes_immediatly_after_launch/
I'm not playing the game yet but the game did start with my internet connection enabled after deleting those files. Also I've read about other games on gog having the same issue and the solution is the same.

Wow, that's amazing. Thank you for taking the time to reply. I made up my mind and erased all the files. I ran GOG Galaxy and pressed the PLAY button to run the game. The game begins. I was happy.
You are great at finding and informing these solutions, and others who presented them as solutions are great.
I think there are really a lot of great friends online about how to find such a solution. But there's still no response from GOG Rather, there is a bit of anger. Publishers and developers are unresponsive and cannot believe the current situation in which users who play and enjoy games have to find answers themselves.
Thank you again for finding me a good time. I hope you always have a good time together.

No problem. Glad I could help.
