Hi,

I bought the Tyranny game but it won’t start if I have the wi fi (internet connection) on.

Anyone have any idea?

This isn’t the DLL issue, because I don y have the DLL files.

Thanks all.
Hi,

Same issue here. I am on windows 11 and it only works if wifi is off. With wifi on, the game lauch during a few milli-seconds and then shut down.
I can confirm this issue as well. Windows 11, verified install files with Galaxy, not signed in with Paradox: Game quits immediately on launching, not even reaching intro video most times. Disabling wi-fi allows the game to run perfectly - thanks to the OP, I wouldn't have thought to switch it off. Even launched the game then re-enabled the wi-fi and the game quit several seconds later.

Edit: Creating a block rule in Windows firewall completely fixed it for me. I can launch the game however I want, including galaxy and with connected internet. https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/windows-11/how-to-block-a-program-from-accessing-the-internet-windows-11/m-p/2772951

Just in case it helps anyone in the future - the DLL files' names have been updated, they are now called Galaxy64.dll and Galaxy.dll - deleting these from C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Tyranny fixed the issue for me.
