I have the physical Collectors Edition 2-disc set of Two Worlds, and while I know where to get the 1.0 to 1.7b patch, I don't know where to get all the other files that will get the game working on Windows 7 x64. Things like the WMP9 fix, the fix for the NPC's not moving their mouths when they talk, etc.

Also, I remember that when I first installed the game when I first bought it, I had to call an overseas number to get an activation code to even get the game started. I'm not sure why it was overseas, since mine is the USA/NA published version (from SouthPeak), but I'm not sure if that number is active anymore. It may also have been that the AV software I was using at the time prevented the game from contacting the appropriate activation servers (which may also be inactive now; this is the inherent flaw of online-activation DRM).

So is there a Two Worlds community site that (while not only being "still active") has everything I need to get started again?

I am not familiar with the WMP9 fix, so apparently I did not need it when I played the GOG version. The NPC lip-sync fix has been hosted by a GOG member in this thread:

You will not need a code to get the GOG version started, as there's no DRM. If you are using your old physical copy, then I"m not sure... maybe check www.insidetwoworlds.com? I don't know if they're still active but I've found some useful files there, like the Two Worlds Control Panel that gives you some extra graphics options.

You WILL need a key to play online, even if you buy from GOG, but GOG can issue one to you if you fill out a form in the support section. It's a little annoying and will take a few days, but it works.
