I was wondering where about y'all have found (or know where to find) the Spell Booster cards for magic? I am ~level 9 or so and still only have the first 2 boosters you start the game with. I would love to get some spell point reduction boosters for my heal and maybe a duration increase booster for my fire shield, but I haven't found anything [either via drop or via vendor].

I have gotten to the next semi large town (where you meet the Merchant Association folks at their guild hall the first time) and explored all around it (a bunch of small villages, I have found some caves and whatnot). Any ideas? Do I have to get further along?

They're not that common. I picked up a couple off mage traders. If you see one for sale then make sure to buy it. The other places that they sometimes appear are dropped by spellcasters, so shamans, necromancers, etc. (basically anything the casts spells at you).

They are useful, but to be honest they don't change things that much, I went through the whole game with only about 4 or 5 of them.
Ah, figures :/ - hopefully I will be able to find a few useful ones. Thanks much.

On a side note, this game suffers from horrible reviews... but sucks me in quite adeptly. The voice acting isn't the best, but thats part of its charm :) - the game play is great, I hope maintain their innovation with Two Worlds 2 [you know, card based magic - combining items to get higher tiers, etc]

The game suffers from *some* horrible reviews - others are quite positive. A lot of reviews on GOG have pre-conceptions piled in with them. Two Worlds was (in my opinon) a victim of that. People wanted Gothic, or Oblivion, or something even better. If it was reviewed without comparison, I think it would be rated well. I look forward to TW2 Though I am on board with the mayhap reduction.

In itself, as you say - it sucks you in, it kept me going right through to seeing how it finished - though that was enough.

If you're playing as a mage, there is a post I left previously with some tips - alternatively, enjoy finding them out for yourself.
