wow just got two worlds from here, and would like to get more, but 4 hours just to download this game is it slow all the time?

4 hours to download 3.6 GB means you got approx 2Mb / sec download rate. That's not unreasonable, sometimes it's faster, sometimes not. You won't get much different on steam.
However it's worth noting that 2 worlds is one of the larger games on here. Most download faster simply because of their size.
