I've played Two Worlds on my Xbox360 a few years ago, and sadly it was a massive bugfest. Due to repeatedly running into game-breaking bugs, I still haven't finished the game even after starting over three times. Still, I kind of fell in love with Two Worlds despite all the bugs, and I enjoyed every minute of playing it.

Now that I've bought the GOG version, I have one question: How buggy is the game really?

Several reviews here and on other websites say that the PC game eventually got patched often enough to get rid of the most serious bugs, and that it's unlikely to ever be bothered by any bugs at all when playing the fully patched game. I'd love to believe that, and I'm definitely going to play it (you don't have to sell me on it), but I'd like to know what I have to expect.

I never encountered any bugs that I remember when I played the GOG version. I think you'll have a good time with it. Everyone says it was heavily patched after release, and the version number is way up at 1.7b (most games get patched to 1.1 or something). It also includes two expansions, although I'm not sure what they add since I never played the original release.
GOG and Steam verions seem to be the same. The bugs were most evident in console versions though.
