I made it through as a ranger (well, sort of) on my first playthrough. Well, sort of? You have to play a harp and I'm too old to do it (fingers just don't work that well) so I watched the end on "You Tube". I didn't miss much - a tedious, unfun boss fight for the most part. Well, I didn't finish the main game completely either for a similar reason. However, the trip to 99% complete was fun and I didn't mind watching the very end on the tube. Not really sure, though, how it relates to the main story. I'll play again a few times and get the trenebre game but it's sad knowing that there never will be an ending as TW3 is dead.
