I was searching for a game where you must eat, sleep, and drink to survive. I found a couple of articles like this one: http://pc.ign.com/articles/708/708763p1.html But they were written one year before the game's release.. I'm guessing it was probably removed from the final version?
I'm afraid your search will have to continue. You don't eat / drink / sleep in the survival sense. You eat herbs, and drink potions to improve stats, or regenerate health / mana.
I'm afraid off the top of my head I can't think of a game where you do (beyond really early rpgs like 'Rogue').
I believe Morrowind, Oblivion and and Fallout 3 have mods that add need of eating, drinking and sleeping to survive. I think Fallout New Vegas is said to have such mode from get go (as option). For morrowind it's called 'Necessities of Morrowind'

Most of the Morrowind and Oblivion mods don't seem to work correctly. I've tried several of them and they either have no effect at all, or seem rather pointless. Like one in Oblivion, for example, continually told me I was getting hungrier and hungrier, despite the huge amounts of food I was eating (apples, pumpkins, etc..). Another, Vim & Vigor, also did not seem to have any demands of my character for eating. Although the need for sleep was a nice touch. I was having too many issues with oblivion having "black spots" whenever I would walk on certain surfaces, so I finally gave up on it and uninstalled it for now.
I imagine Fallout 3's mods would have similar issues, so I won't be trying them. I may get New Vegas, just for the hardcore mode. xP I just hope they still have all 3 needs by the time it is released....
