Just bought this game yesterday, runs fine, no crashes, no obvious problems with the performance, however, the character animations appear abnormally choppy. I'm running a high end system (GTX 680 with other on par components), so hardware performance isn't an issue. (Also running all the latest drivers)

So at first I thought it might be a frame syncing issue, I forced vsync via the Nvidia control panel and according to fraps it's running at 60, but no joy.

I downloaded the latest control panel for the game and had a look through the config vars, still nothing.

I've seen this issue a couple of times on the forum, but no-one appears to have found the source of the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

same here, its really weird cause the game runs at 60 fps without any stuttering but its as if the animations are running in 20 fps. Would really like a solution to this too, maybe Im picky but its a bit unplayable due to how pronounced it is.

EDIT: found out that enabling vsync through d3d or your graphics card panel can help. I did it, but it only makes it slightly better. There is still a very noticeable choppiness to the animations, just less so than before.

Well, I'd say that the animation system of Two Worlds just is pretty shoddy but indeed, vsync makes the movement look much more fluid. However, at least on my GTX 560 this also has some downsides. After forcing vsync everything moves nicer and more natural BUT also I instantly had the impression that things are a little sluggish, that I get feedback too late, especially when looking around. And indeed, vsync screws up a few things, most notably the inventory screen. Without vsync the items you pickup perfectly follow the mouse cursor, with vsync there's a heavy delay that makes moving items a nightmare. So despite the positive effect vsync has on the animations - the delay is worse.
