My display does not support whatever resolution two worlds II has set in its default settings. As a result, I run the game, but I cannot see a thing. The problem is, I'm having trouble finding a way to change the default resolution BEFORE running it. (a cfg file or something similar to edit). Can anybody help? Thanks

The resolution settings are in the registry. Open the Registry Editor and go to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Reality Pump\TwoWorlds2\Graphics

You'll find the settings there. If it's still black after setting your resolution here try setting FullScreen to 0; this will run the game in windowed mode (which should show up properly) and let you set your resolution from there.

If the game is still black in windowed mode then something else is the cause of the problem.
The initial resolution was set at 1600x1200. Thus, my screen went nuts. Tinkering with the registry solved everything. Thanks a lot. You saved my 10 bucks.
