When I first heard of Two Worlds, it looked promising. It seemed that Oblivion's Graphics were fused with Gothic's gameplay. When I booted up the demo, this was not the case. What I saw was a world of disappointing gameplay and laughably bad grammar.
Everything about the game seemed abysmal to me, and I couldn't even bring myself to play for 10 minutes before deleting it off my hard drive and drowning out the memory of this game with some strong whiskey.
This was several years ago. Upon reading the reviews on this site, I decided (mostly out of boredom) to give this game another try, and I'm very glad I did. Whatever problems the game had seemed to be pretty much worked out.
Yeah, the dialog is still the same, but after playing Star Wolves 2, I don't think bad voice acting and misspellings could ever measure up to that fiasco (if anyone else has played that game you most likely understand), and it, like SW2, does not ruin the experience of the game, at least for me anyway.
So if you tried this game out a while back and dumped it in the trash, I'd recommend giving it another go, you might be surprised.
