Played the first Two Worlds last year when I first got it. Lost my save in a HD problem. But, I'd like to give it another go. There's something that's just nagging me about the game, though.
Attack and Defense. If you look at your inventory, just below your HP and Mana are two Stats. Attack and Defense. They are displayed as percentages. like 54% and so on.
Exactly what do these do? The manual has no useful info. I've searched all over the internet and nobody seems to know. Some people have suggested it's your chance to hit enemies which is bollocks because I've had Attack% as low as 54% and not noticed any difference. Every time I swing my weapon I hit. If an enemy is in range you'll always hit no matter what the Attack% is. Perhaps it's affecting the damage I do. No way to tell.
Exactly what does Attack and Defense stats do?
Maybe they don't mean anything. Perhaps a better question then is how far have you let those stats fall without really noticing a difference in combat?
It's just I'd hate to ignore them only to discover after many hours of playing the game that I've gimped myself. Yet, I'd really like to ignore those stats if I can efficiently level without bothering with them.
