I prefer GOG, but as a customer I prefer the Steam release simply because it costs the same but also offers trophies. It's sad that developers really hate GOG

The idealist would tell you the GOG-version is the one to buy. The realist however prefers Steam, as the GOG-version still lacks achievements (after over 5 years) and gets patched a lot less frequently.

Developers seem to really hate GOG.

And whats about Playfab beta? Is it available in GOG? Is it any good to switch to it?
