The possible bug I keep coming across is when I can climb up the vines it works fine, but when I try to climb down the vines it won't let me which results in life protagonist health decrease or instant death in certain areas. The other bug/glitch is throughout the whole game so far I can't use my grenades which I pressed every button on my keyboard, but nothing happens. If anybody knows any solutions or updates I have to install through gog to fix these problems please let me know.

That's just how climbing works. There's no fall damage, so you don't need to be able to climb down, anyway.

Grenades aren't hand grenades; they're ammo for the grenade launcher. You can't use them until you get the grenade launcher a few levels in.

That makes and thanks for the response. Although that is kind of weird how the grenades were designed considering that enemies in the game can throw grenades at you in the game, but oh well. One other thing when it comes to the weapons I notice you can't switch between first and secondary weapon types just like in xbox 360 version in turok is this a design choice or a problem with the game itself? Ex: pick up the regular bow ammo, but when I go to pick up tech bow ammo can't switch back to my regular ammo until I waste the ammo.
Yeah, that's just another limitation of the original game. Ammo type toggle wasn't added until Turok 2.

You might be interested in my tweaks mod. It has optional modules for hand grenades (albeit with a bad 1st person model) and switching ammo types (bit of a kludge due to engine limitations, but it's functional).
