Is there a console command to turn the hud off? I read that in a patch they added support for hud opacity. Does that mean you can make it invisible, or just partially transparent?

What are the console commands for Turok?

I read you can see them if you open the console and type: help

But, I'd like to know before buying.

Options->Gameplay->HUD Options

HUD opacity can go all the way to 0. This affects lives/life force, health, and ammo, but doesn't touch pickup messages or the weapon wheel (both temporary, contextual elements), or view coloration (pickup/damage flashing, underwater blue tinting).

There's also a HUD on/off option, which turns ALL of that stuff off.

The crosshair can be toggled individually.

It might be possible to mod out the weapon wheel and messages, if you want to disable those without losing view coloration. I can experiment a bit if that particular combination is important to you.

I've attached a composite of the all the output of the help command.

I experimented with both.

The weapon wheel and messages bugged me, so I turned everything off.

If you you can figure out how to disable the weapon wheel and messages while keeping the other stuff, that would be great.

Create a folder named "mods" in your Turok install directory, and put that kpf file in it.

It works great, thank you. It feels much more polished when playing without the hud now.
