In two places at Level 2 The Jungle the game crashes when I'm jumping down to a ground portal
and when I jump down towards the Chronoscepter.

Do you guys think the Steam version would have this problem? I really want to play this game without it crashing everytime I get to the Chronoscepter!

Man.... I'm 20min in the game and it have already crashed 4 times.
Tried several compatiblity settings, messing around in the ingame settings, but no luck.

It always crashes when I jump down from high places like the "Chronocepter piece" in Level 2.
Too bad... I was not paying money to do their work... I think it's the same. It's gotta be. I could be wrong tho.

I am not using the Galaxy Client I just download the game from my library

I'm not using the GOG Galaxy client.
Is there any way to keep the saves? Or should we just reinstall the game over the old one?
I assume you dont let Turok 2 Seed of Evil Remastered on release have these problems right?

Oh man... my first buy from GOG ending up being my last....

Just backup the "SAVE" folder and uninstall and reinstall. I hope. Gonna check it out right away.

EDIT 2.
I can confirm that the new version ( 2.0.0.3) does not crash when I'm jumping down to
the Chronocepter Piece.
Hope this fixes all the other crashes too.

Well all of them have a hyphen, and maybe all were running via the offline installer version. Considering GOG have been able to get a hotfix out this fast, could it have been the GOG installer causing the issue and not the game code itself?
Don't be like that until you've given them a chance. These kinds of issues can happen. It is unfortunate, yes, but that GOG support have been investigating and even releasing a hotfix so quickly, that has to be a positive and I'd say that's really good support. Hopefully this will now solve issues for people.

The game would not start at all for me but with the hotfix it works now after I put the game directory in the exception list of my anti-virus software. Thanks for the quick fix!
