I installed Trüberbrook in my iMac, which runs macOS High Sierra (10.13) and it's barely usable. The game runs, but it is soooooo slow that it's completely unplayable. It's a pity, for I've been waiting for this game ever since it was announced in Kickstarter.
For illustration, consider that the motorcycle intro screen took about 15 just to fade from black, and another 20 seconds for the motorcycle to arrive and park at the scene -- at a frame every two or three seconds. I didn't get a cursor, and could not find a way to interact, although the girl said a few phrases every few seconds.
At that point, I couldn't even quit the game, it was so unresponsive; I had to essentially kill the process.
Below are my machine specifications:
* Model: iMac (late 2009)
* OS: macOS High Sierra (10.13.4)
* CPU: 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
* Memory: 6 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
* Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 9400 256 MB
Is it a matter of increasing the RAM? Or am I out of luck and must wait until my next machine?
