I've searched this forum, but found no answer to my question. Does anyone know if Linux support for Tropico 5 is coming to GOG, as we can get on Steam?

Really? GOG seems to be trying to get some sales, the Tropico pack is on sale again. What's wrong with your copy?

I had some incompatible hardware (very odd sound system). Got it figured out, and things work fine now. :)

You can get Tropico 5 for Linux on Steam. I wonder why GOG does not offer the Linux version as well.

The GOG version for Mac is available only on Steam.
Not even Tropico 4 there is for Mac.

Same as with Limbo, I am not buying this if there is no Linux support. Sorry. :(

Nope, none, whole collection was on sale several times - yet Linux support is only present on Steam.

Yeah, too bad. I have been working on Linux for years now and finally switching to it for gaming, too.
Bought Tropico 5 here and had a lot of fun with it. As much as I hate it for its DRM though, I will be buying Tropico 6 on Steam for the Linux support.

Gog just discounts whole series currently. Which is a missed purchase, because still no Linux support. Steam has it.

Just my +1, I bought it because I thought it had the linux port as well (I didn't bother to double-check) and now I can't play. I would even be happy if it worked with wine, but I get no sound.

Gog is really doing what it can to get Linux users games, can't really understand why so many titles available for linux are on steam but not here. Yet another sale goes to steam.
Valve is really trying to get more games playable on Linux and apparently the steam version is also drm free. Might as well buy the game over there.
