I'm not sure if this is the best place to post this, but I'm not sure where else to. What are the chances of getting a mac version of this? I once upon a time had the game for OS9, so Mac versions have definitely historically existed, implying it's at least possible. Would really appreciate it.

I can only recommend you the Porting Kit from Paul The Tall:

Download and install the Porting Kit and follow the instructions to port the Windows version for Mac. It works fine. I've tried it on my Mac Book Pro Retina with Yosemity and it works fine.

Wineskin works well for 1 and 2, might want to put it in Virtual Desktop though.

I don't know about 3.
