Hmm, not in my case. Inofficial patch 1.042, ReShade 3.4.1 and 4.0.2 (the most recent version). d3d9.dll prevents the game from launching or crashes the game early in startup. Rename it to anything else and it doesn't get loaded. Except when you name it dxgi.dll, but it doesn't show ingame. 4.0.2. behaves very differently with some games, so it has to be taken with caution.
