It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Please forgive me if I'm doing something stupid...whenever I launch Trine2, the resolution is messed up. I'm on a recent model MBP 15 (with nvidia card), latest OSX. When the launcher opens and I select a resolution, it goes full screen but not scaled, so I only get a portion of the image if that makes sense. So for example, the character on the main screen can run off the edge of my view, or I can press escape and get the menu up, but I cant see the menu as its off-screen.

Am I doing something wrong? Is there an optimal resolution this game is meant to be played at and if so, why do they give you a choice to select higher resolutions?

UPDATE: 1440x900 seems to work well. So....am I meant to be able to use the higher resolutions it gives me an option of? Why are they there as a choice?

Here's what I've found online about this problem. I don't have a mac and can't test these. Hopefully one of these suggestions helps:

-----------------------
Disabling Dynamic Graphic Card Switching and forcing either the integrated or the dedicated card appears to solve the problem. This workaround apparently also worked for Trine http://frozenbyte.com/contact.php, bottom of the page), but they seem to have fixed the issue by now.
-------------------------
first try disabling Automatic Graphics Switching in the Energy Saver section of System Preferences
-------------------------
I found mention of this on one other website:
Download gfxcardstatus (it is freeware)
Once installed, switch the graphics card from “dynamic switching” to “discrete only”
This switches the graphics card in use to the NVIDIA card.
-------------------------
You could try to edit the options.txt file. It's located either in
~/Library/Containers/com.frozenbyte.Trine2/Data/Library/Trine2 (Mac App Store)
or in
~/Library/Trine2/ (for the standalone)
There you'll find the ForceFullscreenWidth ja ForceFullscreenHeight options that you can try to fiddle with to find the correct measurements for the fullscreen.
