However, while I understand the motives behind not providing a Linux version, I'm not sure it's a wise move. It's not like Linux is losing influence, quite the contrary actually. I moved to Linux recently, and still have Windows, so running games on Windows is theoretically one reboot away, but in practice, I usually just don't want to reboot... When buying a game, the unavailability of a Linux native version has become an issue in the decision process, and while I don't see that as a definitive obstacle, each time I still decide to get the game, there's a little voice in my head that tells me "Maybe you'll never play it !". And actually, since I made the move to Linux in september, I've not played a single Windows game.
So of course that's only me, and I'm not sure I'm representative of a general trend, but I'm pretty sure I'm not alone...
