MountainCloudBoy: Does anyone else have issues with the standard keyboard controls?

I started the game and began the tutorial. There I realised that none of the buttons of the standard keyboard controls worked. To perform an Ollie I am supposed to press "z" (or mayby "y" since my system settings are german) which does not work - neither do any of the supposedly assigned buttons for e.g. "luge".

When I tried to remap those keys I couldn't. Or rather: I could only assign the Arrow buttons and certain control buttons (CTRL, ALT and Enter but not Space). I can not assign any letters and I dont know why.

I can definitely not play the game like this which is why I'd like to know if anyone else experienced this and may know a way to fix this.

did you try to switch to English when binding the keys? Some games use default system language and if it is different from English they don't recognize the keys you press. In this case you will have to rebind all letter-keys you want to use. I've encountered this issue with my Russian keyboard layout couple of times, may be it can help in your case too.
