I'm wondering around everywhere for hours trying to figure out where I'm suppose to go.

Same here.. and I am only at the point where I am to get a sail.
The lightning bug says he has a map around somewhere, and there's a chest behind a wall near him.
There are obviously some hidden tunnels on this island, one leading to this chest, but I sure can't find the way into any of them. Even if I go to the Somora island, I can't get a sail from anyone. Very frustrating.
I am sure I must be missing something very obvious, somewhere. The bird tells me to find someone who knows where to get a sail, well, that didn't help since he just tells me he has a map around somewhere.

Indeed, I did. I was getting so frustrated that I missed a door that was, well, too hidden but was actually in a sort of logical spot.. of course, I found the answer online, but still. Frustrating.

I have the same problem. I can't find a sail and a Somora map. Please, help!
