Hi everyone. I am in the sewers after getting treasure 6 and I got stuck in a room with a big wheel. I checked the walkthrough which suggests that I should turn the wheel a full turn counterclockwise. The thing is, when I do it I hear a particular beeping-clicking sound but nothing happens. The water does not rise, nothing changes. How do I exit this sewer? Or is it a bug?
Turning the wheel activates some water further up that helps you actually exit the level. There's a bunch of fire-spewing dudes, and you have to extinguish them with the water using the bottle. So if you heard that sound, you're good on that point.

But you still have to get up there, and to do that you have to jump around the other direction, and grab on to the ledge halfway up the right side of the wall, and then go up and over the wheel itself to the level above. It's pretty tricky and requires very good (and quick) timing to accomplish. But by doing the full rotation first, you don't have to climb the wheel twice (which is a good thing). Just keep at it.
I got on that ledge once after trying hard many times, so I was halfway through. I hoped there was an easier way to get up there - I take it there isn't. Well, that sucks. I think I'll take a break from the game for a while. Thank you.
Just got through it, I know its a year later but if you still haven't done it and want to the trick was staying off the platforms as much as possible. Taking jumps to adjust the position of the wheel until you get on the ledge, going back and forth from ledge to platform to get the platform between the two ledges, once you're on top its much simpler to get across. It seemed to require more patience in getting the positioning correct than proper timing.
