Is there a way to save the game at any point other than at the blue dot? Some of the sequences seem so long between blue dots and to have to redo all of the puzzles to get where you last where is frustrating. Thanks.

Since posting this, I have found there are ways to get additional lives that I was not aware of. So all is well. Thanks.
