EDIT: Problem solved. But that jump was tricky.


So, I found the second map, saved the bug from being eaten and now I'm inside the dark area of the tree. I activated three of the switches, but I can't find a way to the violet/purple switch. And I'm absolutly clueless on how to reach that area. Did I miss an item I need?
So far, I only have the shovel and the throwing hook. Well... and an extra heart.

The purple switch is quite difficult: it's located above the red switch, when you are on the red switch floor you have to jump to the left and turn fast to the right so you can hook yourself to the corner above the red switch floor, go up and jump to the left, there's the purple switch.

The problem is: after that I found a room with water, evil fishes, hook holds and a red switch on the wall; I hit that switch many times with the throwing hook but it doesn't activate...
How am I supposed to pass through that room?

I read in another forum that you're supposed to fire on it later with another tool.

Yeah, I figured out later that you have to find other treasures and the ability to jump higher before finishing that island.

How did you save the bug from being eaten?
