I want to fully complete this game (I'm loving it), and I know I must buy the house and its upgrades to achieve the good ending. I have around 960 coins (I got 500 coins in that minigame) and 7 treasures. I'll need around 1600-1700 coins to get everything, but I'm not sure on how to get so many coins at this point. Is there a way to get fast money in this game?

There's no ideal way to farm money other than keeping an eye out for all the treasure chests and secrets, but if you collect all 40 fragments and return to the shop for the reward, you get 1000 coins.
Edit: There's actually 41 fragments, but you only need 40 to get the 1000 coin reward.

Thanks for the tip.

I ended up killing the pair of crabs outside of the big pyramid (the location of the very first treasure) and then entering/leaving the pyramid in order to trigger the respawn. Took only a few minutes to get all the money I needed :)

I'm about 60% through the game at the moment. Bought a house, have all hats and now I have about 500 coins already.
I don't believe you'll have to 'farm for money' if you find most of the hidden caches.
