bolero3232: I love the theme of this game, but I've decided that this game moves too slowly and time moves too quickly. One or the other needs to be changed for it to be playable for me. I feel like it takes forever to accomplish anything, and the world is passing me by. I would be OK with pace of play if time moved more slowly.
Maybe I'll get used to it, if I continue playing.
You can change the game speed to be either faster or slower if you're willing to make a quick change to one of the config files. You just need to open the 'base_config.lua' with a text editor. It's found in the 'Transport Fever/res/config' folder and find the line:
game.config.millisPerDay = 2000 -- default 2000 (milliseconds per day), 1000 - 8000 experimental
Set it to 4000 for days that take twice as long or 8000 for days that take 4 times as long as standard.
save the file and restart the game.
