I don't know if i need to install some dependencies or what but i have no text neither on the menus or in game.
I'm using debian jessie 8.5

Solved:

The default mesa-driver on debian jessie is too old and has some issues with the HD3000 integrated graphics. Updating the mesa-driver solved the problem.
