It has taken so long for me to be able to buy a DRM-free version of this game, it had nearly fallen off my radar. And now that it's on GoG, and that I've said repeatedly that the game would be an instant buy in a DRM-free format, I now have to put my wallet where my mouth was and buy it.

Fifty percent off? Well played, Supergiant. Well played. Soundtrack sold separately? Less well played, but acceptable.

True, which only makes the guys at Supergiant Games look more like giant douche prima donnas in their arguments defending why they couldn't release the game on GOG, saying it was "too dependant on Steamworks and Steam architecture". I'm glad they changed their mind, but it's still a bit awkward that a big studio such as Warner Bros. adhered to GOG first and managed to release Supergiant-developed Bastion before the indie star themselves decided to publish Transistor in here.

Yeah, they really could have gotten it here sooner, but that's really the worst I can honestly say about them. The game was DRM free from day 1. And as much as I would prefer buying a .tar.gz from GOG than handing money over to Valve, it just didn't bother me enough not to buy it.

...DRM free is DRM free ATEOTD
