I just started to try and play Train Valley 1 but can't find any way to actually start the game. I've been able to configure the options; I've been able to switch between classic and Sandbox; I've been able to Quit.

I've clicked and right clicked everywhere I can think of and see but I have not been able to find a way to actually start the game. I've pressed all the "F" buttons. Nothing helped. I tried the "Esc" button. Nothing started gameplay.

I looked in the game directory but could find no manual or instructions on how to start gameplay.

I have Win 10.

Can anybody help?

TIA,
kk

Did you try clicking on the stamps on the book?

Yes, I did. I tried clicking, double clicking, and right clicking on each stamp and got nothing.

I just went back to the game and discovered that you can only choose the very first stamp on the closed book and then the very first stamp on the page that opens.

I wanted to start in the USA but, apparently, the game won't allow you to play what you want to play.

You have to play through each stamp to unlock the next.

Thank you.

I did not know that. I probably would not have purchased the game had I been aware of that but thanks for letting me know.

you can start the game with the --demo option.
This will allow you to choose all the missions if that is what you desire...

The only thing I could find that sort of resembled "demo" mode was "demolish mode" but it didn't seem to do anything. I looked all through the settings but couldn't find anything else that might relate to a "demo" mode.
you need to start the game by providing the --demo option. it's not an option in the game itself.

On linux I just start the game from the command line by going to the game folder and launching the game by typing:

train-vally.x86_64 --demo

you can do the same on windows via the cmd tool or create a new shortcut to the games executable and adding the --demo part I used in the above example

If correct, all missions are available from the start
