As the Steam Version of TF is being updated since 2 days with enhancements, when does the Update arrive at GOG ?

Ive paid for the game, just like the Steam-Users and would like to get the same Support !

Thank you.

We have the Build 5442 (March 3) here.

Steam is/was always their testing ground, they had their alpha there I think.

25th was the next release and 26th again, today is the 27th -.-

And if you look at the patch notes:
1. They made it possible to remove street connections between towns.
2. A Sandbox mode where everything is for free and no economic simulation.
3. A mode where vehicles are not taken out of production.

If you use the timeless mod from train-fever.net, change 1/2 are included in it. More 3 than 2, but since you can run vehicles forever it is also an economic change.

Town and street names can now be changed or at least the pool of names it chooses from (available as mod).
Some Steam archivement fix.
US DLC updates.
Improved Russian translation.

The performance fixes are OK.

p.s. OK, it is actual quite a lot, but give them a couple of days until the last fixes on the patch arivved at Steam, then they can build a proper new version here in GOG.
btw. Steam is known for the worst support of any software distribution platform :)

I get a build 5446 from the windows installer 2.0.0.1, but there is no 5446 in the official website release-notes.
Is different platform get a different build?

GOG's build is probably different, since the original would have had Steam integration built in.

Hopefully GOG's patch will arrive soon, as I am really enjoying this game, but those fixes (especially the memory bloat when deleting stations) are very welcome.
Hello,

So im thinking to buy train fever.
ive tested the game with a friend.
What i want to know is the version of steam different
then the version on Gog?
I mean i know what drm is but are there differences in train/vehicle models?
ive tested build Gog version 5446.
So there is one problem that prevent me from buying.
I had major memory lagging with scrolling (medium of big map)
Is this already fixed?

The games *should* be identical... the only thing that should be missing is steam features which really has nothing to do with the actual game. I don't believe Steam has any exclusive DLC or anything. As for as major lagging. This also happens to me, but I can't speak for the new patch which should hit GOG sometime this week. As of now it's not really fixed.

Some people in the train-fever.net run it on more than one modern graphics cards with recent CPU and lots of memory. Given the amount of stuff it needs to be calculated and displayed for each individual citizen :)
Yeah,

It's a mem eating game.
my friends pc is a I7 with graphics in sli mode and 16 gb ram.
Even then it is lagging.
Never thought to see a very calculated game ;)
