It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

As said above, the program doesn't start at all. I get an active "TrainFever.exe" in task manager, which goes M.I.A. a few seconds after that.

Google tells me that some other people got a crash with the message that they had to update their graphic cards driver, but no such thing here.

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium x64 up to date
CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K (@Stock)
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7770, driver version is 12.4, no issues with it until here

I was browsing the games files when I stumbled upon the "goglog.ini", which holds the following content:

[1424258777]
Dirs=1
Dir_0=C:\Users\XXXXXXé\AppData\Roaming\Train Fever\

(i have changed the username here, obviously)

In Fact, the mentioned folder does not exist, as it seems to be created in

C:\Users\XXXXXX鯁ppData\Roaming\Train Fever\

As you can see, the folder structure got glitched due to a bug. But I don't know if it has anything to do with the issue of the game not starting.

Edit: It actually does! I created the "Train Fever" folder where it should have been according to the .ini-file, and now I get an error message by processing the launcher:

User profile creation failed
boost::filesystem::create_directory: Zugriff verweigert: "C:/Users/XXXXXX鯁ppData/Roaming/Train Fever/save

Please patch this. There should be no issue with user names that include an "é". It is a common letter. >.<

Edit2: Created a second windows user account, installed the game, runs fine. Switched to other account, same error as before. I'm not amused.

Same here, due to an "á" in my username.
Could GOG please contact the developer to let them know aobut this issue?
With the update to version 5565, the bug is fixed on my end, just to mention it here.
