Just started playing this game a few weeks ago. Easy, small map, mostly flat terrain, 1850. My train from the south edge of the map takes 5-6 months to reach a station in the middle of the map. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong. I'm only hauling 4 passenger cars, which are 80%+ filled on every trip. Early pioneers in covered wagons took less time than that to go a lot further. Really enjoying the game otherwise.

Didn't expect someone still playing this game.
It is totally normal for a train take months or year to reach destination, especially in early stage.
Transport Fever 1 & 2 also suffer the same "problem", yet I have a better experience in later games.
