System is Ubuntu 18.04 LTS (5.0.0-25-generic #26~18.04.1-Ubuntu SMP Thu Aug 1 13:51:02 UTC 2019 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux)

Dual GPU (not SLI) 1660 runs three screens 1060 runs 3 screens.
Ryzen 2700X
64Gigs RAM
yada yada yada...A/V workstation, all other games run fine.

Running in Xinerama mode so I can drag windows without GPU specific needs around and don't have to launch everything with DISPLAY=:0.0 or DISPLAY=:0.1 to denote GPU to use.

The game seems to be on crack in so many ways. If I manually edit the config to a valid display size it will often still
launch at ultra wide resolutions that have nothing to do with the settings (2560x1080). Trying to change the settings resizes the game window so you can't quickly jump through resolutions to test things. When it gets low enough it doesn't cycle through the same resolutions with different refresh rate but rather jumps back to full screen in a garbled way and locks me out making me have to kill the game to restart the process over.

I tried editing the config because the game defaulted to full screen and was running horrible on my new GTX 1660 when just a few days ago it ran wonderfully on my GTX 1060. So I figured since the game full screen is now 5760 wide maybe it's got issues. I mean everything is locked at 60Hz, maybe my faster screens and non standard res are the issue? So I went windowed to test things.

Nothing I do seems to fix things. Changing the refresh in the config just tosses me back to 60Hz and makes the game ignore the selected screen size and choose 2560x1080. If I get the window size to where it's all on screen it just runs like 10-12 FPS. Terrible choppy...even the audio is choppy. GPU is at like 4% or 5%, CPU is basically asleep.

I've tried various things to launch it on the GTX 1060 but the game refuses.

Any changes to the start up script that should allow me to choose GPU/Screen results in:
Player data archive not found at `/home/$USER/Documents/Games/Tower of Time/game/TowerOfTime_Data/data.unity3d`, using local filesystemsupport/gog_com.shlib: line 94: 13670 Aborted (core dumped) ./"${bin_64}"

Has anyone else experienced terrible performance like this? Perhaps due to screen speed? The screens on the 1060 are all 60Hz so perhaps something in the engine dropping like mad? I mean the game is locked @60Hz, my screens are 75Hz and VSYNC is enabled? What gives with this game? (btw disabling VSync doesn't change/fix anything).

As a quick side note I've seen a lot of UNITY games call for screen sizes wrong. Devs assume things and will call for window size in one place then call for total screen size in another creating all sorts of whacky crap problems. I almost wonder if the game isn't calling and trying to post process for my whole screen area of 5760x2160 despite the actual set window dimensions.
