...on Level VI...I think...? Honestly, I've lost track of what level this is. Anyway, I've been trying to move the energy pylons around to overload that giant spider egg sack/whatever in the center, and have only managed to boost it by 25% I think I'm missing something, but have no idea what. Please assist. Thanks.

You need to activate one of the pylons with 2 rays first, AFAIR.

Use the console [ in the game] to look at map of pilons, the 1 on the far left should have a red beam going to the ball, all pilons should be activated in a sort of loop took me almost 1/2 hr of turning them to get it right. Try to line up the short red beams so they merge with the white ones.
