As the subject line states, I can't seem to find a totala.ini anywhere in the game directory. On the same note, I'm wondering where I put any maps or units I've downloaded, as well as what patch the GOG.com version is. Is it 3.1c or just 3.1?

Sorry I'm so late, I just started messing with TA again after years of not playing it.
TA probably don't have a ini file by default. Mine did not exist. I read on the TA Universe forums on how to change the unit limit create a totala. ini file and put it in the main TA dir.

[Preferences]
UnitLimit = 500;

(500 max for 3.1)

This worked for me on my GOG install. I have installed the Unofficial TA patch 3.9.02 from TA Universe and my unit limit is now 1600 I believe. After the patch, the graphics are much improved, and there is a new ini file with a ton of things to tweak.
