Hello all!
I purchased the Total Annihilation Commander Pack years ago on GOG. I played many a game and skirmish without issue, it launched no problem. I recently tried playing it again, and now it won't work? It won't even launch. When I checked the website, it says it's not compatible anymore? I'm using the same computer, MacBook Pro with Mojave 10.14.6

I tried to submit a support ticket on their website, but it won't let me attach my system information, which is required (says it's timing out) I also tried some troubleshooting online, which suggested allowing full disk access which I tried and still won't work.

I'm pretty good with computers, but am by no means an expert, is there any advice or fixes anyone could suggest? Thanks in advance! Huge fan of this game, played it a lot when I was a kid!

There are two download versions in the store, with the larger one seemingly being last updated to better support OS 10.13. If this doesn't work, it might be because of apple dropping support for 32-bit applications.

32-bit support is completely dropped in OS 10.15, but they may have already caused compatability issues with your version of OS 10.14.

If this is the cause, it seems that you'll either have to dual-boot an earlier version of mac os, or use a virtual machine (though parallel desktops or VMware Fusion) to use an earlier version. There are guides online for this specific problem.

I don't have a mac on hand to test if this is the problem & solution, but assuming the only thing that changed is that you're using an updated operating system, this may be it. Good luck.
