I have the gog.com Total Annihilation for Mac version installed and working perfectly. After playing around for a while I decided to check out the multiplayer options through GameRanger. Unfortunately after clicking host and browsing to my TA game files they are all greyed out and GameRanger doesn't seem to recognize that I do indeed have the game installed (and working better than I could hope for from a 20 year old game lol) just no multiplayer support through GR.

I have a few versions I can play on TA: Commanders Pack v3.1 / TA: Unofficial Community Patch V3.9.02 / TA: The Pack Mod. All of these are working flawlessly.

Has anyone found a solution or workaround to this? I've searched high and low to no avail and would love to both Host and Join existing TA games. If I can get just the standard TA: Commanders Pack working that would be great, the unofficials are fine as is as I tend to just play them solo anyways.

Thank you!
any totala.exe should work in GR, browse with Ctrl+E
Everything is greyed out. Control+E doesn't change that either. The GOG.com Total Annihilation Package can't even be browsed through using 'Show Package Contents' to locate the TotalA.exe or TotalAnnihiliation.exe files although I can browse directly to them through Finder.

Copying Both files out of the GOG resource package and placing on the HDD still leaves them greyed out.

Incredibly frustrating but I would love to get on Multiplayer so any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Exact same problem here. Gameranger doesn't let me host a TA game, and when I try to show it that i do indeed have TA installed (via the commander pack from gog) its greyed out and can't be selected. TA is listed under supported games in the MAC tab here: gameranger.com/games. Is this incorrect?

EDIT: just realized this isn't the GR forum, heh. Sent a message to them as well.
