It is not a mod. It is a patch.

I use Switech's bugfix patch, if this turns out to be any good it'll replace that.

Just installed their v3.9.01 Beta Patch and it works like a charm. Helps bring the UI and gameplay to something a little more familiar to current RTS players, while not changing the core (hur hur) mechanics. Love it!

Side note...

Found the strategy guide to the vanilla game at a used book store. Even better, it still had the poster and tech tree pull outs included! I gave it to a good friend for his birthday, as he was a TA freak back in the day.

Was just to show interest and also comment that it didn't make to 4.0 even though it already has a lot on it. And a comment on context makes it easier to understand.
