Hello,
I am having a problem where the game will only play 8 unit sounds, and then nothing else. For example, I can click on a unit 8 times, hear the correct noise each time. But when I click the 9th time, there is silence.

All sound effects stop after the game plays 8. Doesn't matter which sound effects it plays. Always stops after 8.

I have looked around for a solution, but have not been able to find anything. I am running it as an admin, and I have tried it with a variety of different compatibilities. Running version 4.0

Try to find the 4.1 version, dunno why GOG's on 4.0? But I don't think that's the problem, maybe ask in the chat (sorry for spam lol) https://discord.me/TAK

Oddly, this had been working fine until this week (11/26/18) and now the sounds play for the first 30 seconds or so and then stop working. I've been playing for months with no issue. Not sure if there was a windows or other driver update that I didn't notice, or something on GOG's end.

ye this seems to be a recurrent problem these times, the people who fixed it should post their solutions!
