System is WinXP Pro SP3

It starts, I can select some options in the menu, like sounds, but when I try to either change graphic settings, or launch the actual game, it crashes. No error message.

I could print the 'send error report' and post it if anyone thinks it will help.

Running it in Win95 compatibility mode fixed it.

I have a pretty similar problem, but running on compatibility mode doesn't fix anything.

I use win7

I installed the game, played it for a couple of days. Today I run it and after a couple of seconds in menus, game just crashes and white screen is all I see. Task manager can't close TA:K from that point and I have to restart the whole system.
I tried reinstalling it couple of times in different ways but it fixes nothing.
Please help.

Turns out that my Avast AV got some updates today and turning it off solves the problem with white screen. I can play, but after a couple of minutes still the game is randomly crashing. But just crashing. It freezes and task manager can close it normally.

Just bought the game.
Win7 64pro.
Game causes my whole system to lock up. tried running in compaterbility mode. even tried turning of my AV still the same issue.

Same here. Same windows and problem.
