So whenever I save my game everything freezes up so I have to go to the task manager which makes everything giant. I'll end the task for TA but it takes a few times before it ends and everything goes back to normal. Do I have a corrupt file or what's going on with this? I'd like to be able to save my game without my computer freezing up.

What hardware and operating system are you using?

If you are on Vista or Win7 try to tick the checkbox for 'Run as Admin' on the game shortcut

Right Click the shortcut > Choose Properties > Switch to the compatibility tab > Tick the 'Run as Admin' checkbox

I just ticked it so I'm am running as admin. That made it save ok, but now it will just randomly freeze up when i'm playing for like 30 seconds and it takes a lot longer to load into a game. Any other ideas? I'm running Windows 7 64 bit. I have the game installed on my external hard drive if that makes a difference.

Checked the drive and its cable? Tried using an internal drive instead?
