So i just downloaded this game to play with fond memories from my youth. The problem is it seems I cant watch the original opening to the game, only the Iron Plague opening. Is there a reason for this and more importantly a work around. Am i just missing some button that switches in the first opening?

Yea this is a problem with the GOG version (and/or maybe even with TAK). The movies are in C:\CAVEDOG\Kingdoms\Movies, but the INTRO for the Book of Darien has the same name "INTRO(.bik)" as the Iron Plague's...

I got the same issue with the CD version. You could just install the base game without the add-on (the installer should give you the choice), then go into the MOVIE folder and make a copy of the intro and outro (intro.bik, and victory.bik, I think) from there. They can be read with RAD Video Tools (it's free). Then re-install with the add-on. If you have issues reading videos outside the game, you could also copy back the original videos while renaming the add-on ones, as long as you play the original campaign.
