I downloaded the newest version of TA, which looks to be the newer version of the gog installer, and it bombs out right towards the end on Windows 7. I still have the older installer, version 1 whatever, and that works fine on same said PC. Anyone else seeing this problem? Haven't tried it on XP yet.

For what it's worth, the new 2.0 installer just worked fine for me in W7/64... maybe try to redownload it to be sure the file isn't corrupted?

*edit: that said, I just noticed that the version of TA the v2.0 installer installs, hangs and resets my color profile when I start it (it does runs fine eventually) while the first version does not have that issue. I imagine this was changed to maybe address W8 compatibility? Also the icon was changed from the original faction symbol to a new round GOG-style icon, which I am not a fan of. So unless you were having problems with the first version or are running W8, stick with your 1.0 copy...

Just ran the installer on my Win 7 64 bit installed smoothly for me.

Are you installing to the default folder? I'm not. I'm installing to a custom folder.
